Here's a Hyundai IONIQ 5 N Sneak Peek

With a waitlist of more than two years, it is safe to say the Hyundai IONIQ 5 is a massive success. Don't worry if you still need to reserve yours because the IONIQ family is just starting to expand, and the Korean Manufacturer still needs to be done with the IONIQ 5.

Hyundai recently showed us an 8-minute-long video about the N brand's future. Of course, the IONIQ 6 N RN22e and the N Vision 74 concept have always been part of the plan, but Hyundai also gave us the first sneak peek of the upcoming IONIQ 5 N. As mentioned by the Korean Manufacturer, this is the first time the IONIQ 5 N has made an official appearance.

The N Brands

Hyundai's ascension in motorsport thru the N brands has been very impressive so far. The Korean Manufacturer made a name for itself by participating in several race categories and series, such as "WRC, Nurburgring 24 Hours, and many others."

Technologies developed for motorsport have been transferred to customers' vehicles, and let me tell you something. You can see Hyundai evolved a lot in newer models. The Korean Manufacturer caught the essence of sportiveness and dynamic driving. Every N model I've driven so far was a lot of fun, and I can't wait to see what's coming with the brand's EV models, which, I assume, will be better than the current models in every possible way.

As for the IONIQ 5 sneak peek is just a glimpse of the car we get with a tenth of a second in the video. Don't worry if you're afraid of missing it; I took a screenshot of the video to make the picture of this article, so you don't have to. We can see a more aggressive front bumper with what looks like functional aerodynamic features. Usually, you don't see those on an electric vehicle, but we are talking about performance here. Unfortunately, the IONIQ 5 wears a heavy pixelated camouflage on the video, so we don't see much. However, this implies that there will be some significant difference between the regular IONIQ 5 and its performance alteration. Otherwise, the IONIQ 5 would have worn a lighter camouflage.

The IONIQ 5 N will get the same technology introduced on the IONIQ 6 N, like the regenerative brake system that allows you to push the car even more on the racetrack. The least I can say here is that I am impatient to get my hands behind the wheel of this EV Korean rocket.
